Many years ago, we were delighted when the Trafford Centre team invited us to be a part of their exciting new venture which was to open in 1998....and what a successful and vibrant venture it turned out to be!

Almost twenty years later we are proud to have stayed the course - becoming an integral part of the Trafford Centre and its longest established restaurant and the only family run eatery.

Next year will be our 20th anniversary and we are looking forward to some serious partying with regular customers and new friends alike ....watch this space!!

5 Stars – "Very tasty food” We called here one lunchtime and was greeted and seated by a friendly lady. We opted for a few starters and 1 main to share. The spring onion rolls were fresh and delicious and the spring rolls were light and freshly cooked. Our sweet and sour veg with cashew nut main was also excellent. I have to say the best bit was the rice, it was hot fluffy and perfect. My friend lived in Hong Kong for many years and said the Yang Sing food tasted authentic. A great meal and the service was good too.

5 Stars "Beautiful Food" Excellent food, atmosphere and service. Sat down straight away all staff were friendly and food was beautiful. Wonderful gluten free menu with a lot of help and knowledge from whom I'm assuming is the restaurant manager or owner. Will happily be returning soon.

5 Stars - "Excellent Food, Super Service a great place to eat". My two daughters and I were in the Trafford Centre on Saturday night. We decided to eat Chinese and viewed the various restaurants. Although this restaurant was busy we decided to queue and wait for a table and I am so glad we did. We chose a variety of Dim Sum, all of which were delicious. We followed that with half a crispy duck and pancakes and then the girls shared a lemon chicken and fried rice. The quality of the food was superb and the portion size generous. The waiters were very good at explaining the Dim Sum to us and at the end of the meal the girls chose a deep fried custard bun as a sweet which they said was fantastic. By the end of the evening we had had an excellent meal at a reasonable cost. We thought the portion size was generous so be careful how much food you order

5 Stars - "First visit to Yang Sing Cathay" Came here late December after a shopping trip around the Trafford Centre. I couldn't actually believe the size of the restaurant inside as it doesn't look so big from outside. It is huge, and very nicely decorated. Waiting on staff were all very welcoming and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The food was excellent and didn't take long to arrive. Loved the salt and pepper chicken wings, they went down a hit and it was no problem adjusting our meal to suit a fussy eater. Can't fault it, I will definitely be returning and recommending this place.
